3rd Company - Coming up!

Just when I am having fun with my ZainoDIY & Karsoon Photography, my 3rd company is coming up! Yep, this company will consist of 2 other business partners whom share the same passion as me though we specialise in different fields.





We are proud to present you - J²M Photography House where we will be containing portfolio such as Portraits, Events (Weddings inclusive), Automotives as well as Product shots. I shouldnt state too much on our new company. Just eagerly waiting for our new website to be launched!

Have you even lost your Blackberry?

This is just as bad as lossing your notebook. And I am so careless that I left both my wallet and my BB on the top of my car roof and just drove off from my driveway. My neighbour (7th floor, same block) can actually took my BB and did not even bother to call any of my house members to inform that he got my BB nor return my BB to the guard. I had to cancel my line and disable all my office emails for the BB functions.

Spent almost 1 full day at Starhub @ Plaza Sing to get my new sim and also got a new N95 (8G) for aiai.

Got home and wanted to get to check the CCTV from the guard house but in the end, met the uncle who "took" (more like STEAL) my BB and I stopped and asked him if he has found my BB on the floor. He then gave me lame excuse saying that he got to know I stayed in block 1 and also found out my unit # from my personal info in the BB which he wanted to pass it to me. Just that he just got back from M'sia. If thats the case, why did he freaking bloody turn off my phone when I tried to call my number for many times? I can see so much greed and dishonesty in his eyes. He then passed it back to me with a smile.

Anyway, big lesson learnt today!

Kab is on sale, again!

It has been about a month since I re-post my car ads for sale, again! I had this buyer cum friend KenXXXX who called the deal off for some super lame excuse (kept telling me I will buy, i will buy, confirmed!!!!!) and I also lost one potential deal. Anyway, its so easy to see someone's true self and also a lesson learnt! *TAKE THAT DAMN DEPOSIT !!!!*

The Launch of Karsoon Photography

The long awaiting website is finally launched! Had spent almost 2-3months to get it up. Now, its officially up and running. It consists of some of my recent work for wedding and also an event I helped out during the Audi R8 launch at Crossroads cafe.

Durian Durian at Rengit

That would be my 4th year organizing Durian trip for my family & my buddies. This year, I only invited a handful of my VAGSG friends to join in the fun!

I got everyone to gather at Petronas 2nd Link at 10am but due to the bad traffic jam at Tuas checkpoint, we only managed to gather everyone at the meetup point at 11:30am.

After that, Rengit, here we come.



1st pit stop was at Chik Ayam where I settled everybody down at the restuarant while I went to check on the durian status and get our tour-guide, Uncle Alan, ready for our mini kampong tour.

First sight-seeing location will be the coffee warehouse where all the coffee seeds are stacked and stored. These huge containers are ready to export the coffee seeds to the distributors.

We also gathered everyone to have a group picture including the workers & Uncle Alan's family.

Next in the lineup, Uncle Alan brought us to his coconut farm where everyone had a taste of the fresh coconut juice right from the planation. This comes just right for everyone where it was so freaking hot outside at the farm.

Next, we also visited the coffee factory where we got to see how the coffee seeds were fried and toasted at high pressed machines and also the packing process. The finished product? Its just taste so good.

Finally, what everyone has been waiting for - Durian !!!!! Kampong durian, the durian that you never say NO! Even for Ting, who doesnt love durian was enjoying her share.

Finally, all thanks to Uncle Alan for his hospitality and his good tour experience, we had a wonderful Kampong trip at Rengit and everyone got their thumbs up of appreciation!

Rice Dumpling Festival @ Silra Home

Its our rice-dumpling festival at Silra Home again. The work started as early as 10am where the volunteers gathered the experts (aunties of dumplings) to the kitchen to wrap up these nice and yummy dumplings for the old folks. These 'sweet' dumplings are my favourite. It goes well with the kaya.

Wedding of Adrian & Renee

Perhaps one of the coolest venue for wedding I ever had. Out of the normal hotel ballrooms, Adrian & Renee had their big day at the Villa Seafood Galleria @ Labrador Park. For the very first time, I also got my very own personal wedding photographer assistant, Christine, to help me along the way.

It was a full day wedding on 06.06 started from 9am till 11pm. We were luckily to have a nice perfect weather for the day. I have never see Renee so happy and beautiful like today. Wishing you both a very happy & blissful wedding!

Happy Birthday, Ros

Early morning got a pm from Daphne asking me to be the photographer for their surprise party for Ros later today. Ya, its Rossie's bday and Daphne & Gang all geared up for it. They got her presents, cakes and a mega big bday card. Dont ask me what I put in the card, ok, coz I dont know what I was writting also. Kekekee..

Motivational Speech for Whitford

This is a no surprise to me when Peter, my MD, knows that I had a series of beautiful pictures when I returned from my Finland Audi Driving Experience this early April and he told me to give a presentation about my Finland trip to all the Whitford employees and motivate them by telling them whatever things you do, do it with passion and you will be awarded one of these days.

So, this morning, with a 30+ slides of what VAGSG is all about and of coz, with the musical slideshow which Alex has done for us, the whole presentation was delivered with a "Wow" factor. I even received some private messages from my fellow colleagues that the presentation was very well done. Thank you, folks! Here are some pictures taken by Herbert Tan, our company photographer, ;-)

Mac Ritchie Walk

Its school holiday once again and being the good uncle, I brought Val and Glenn to some good nature walk at Mac Ritchie trail. It was hot in the morning but we did enjoy the walk.

I was invited by Elaine, the director of Octopus Holdings to shoot one of their latest pub - Darts The Way @ Kampong Bahru. Here are some pictures I took. Hopefully to do more of commercial shootings as its really a good money business.

Audi Driving Experience - the special edition

With the rest of all the Finland gang, Audi invited all of us for a special Audi Driving Experience event which was unlike the rest. We had the photo presentation specially done up by our main photographer for the group, which was simply brilliant! Love all the pictures he took. Next, of coz, got a speech by Reinhold & Uwe and some briefing by Uwe before the drive.

We took the different models, 1.8T, 2.7TDi for a few spins and then we had a fun race. Quickest and More Precise will win!

The track was filled with turns, corners and cones. Once you knock one down, 2sec off your record. Sounds easy? Wait till you have your chance to drive on the track. But hey, it was all for fun and after the drive, we had some nice fingering food for lunch.

Shortly after our lunch, everyone was waiting eagerly for the results & award giving. Not surprising - Alex got the 1st award (a beautiful Audi golf bag) with the quickest time - 1.01 min. followed by Audibum (yep yep, I invited him for the event and he better win himself something back) - 1.02 min and I came in 3rd - 1.05 min

now, this Audi sports bag just come handy for my coming road trip to KL this long weekend. Yepeee !

Audi Driving Experience

No no.. this time aint Finland! Its in SINGAPORE!!!!

With S$2million of investment in this new Audi A4 launch event, how bad can the event gets, right?

5pm sharp, Rodney, Ally, Terence & his Indonesian friend, Aaron, aiai and myself arrived at Changi Exhibition Centre with convoy. We went to register our names (of coz, I did not get to drive as I had enough of the quattro poisoning session at Finland) at the front desk and then followed by an impressive presentation by Jordi and 4 live Audi cars spinning around showcasing the features of the new A4.

After a quick briefing from each of the instructors, accordingly to your color team, the test drive began! Thats what everyone had been waiting for.

The session divided into 3 parts - Spinning in the 3.2quattro driven by the instructor, test drive the 1.8T with the sales executive, lastly, the dymantic drive in the 2.7TDI. These will give those drivers a really good feel of how the new Audi A4 can do.

I really love the last part - The Quattro Demo, a drag race of a Benz S-class with the Audi4 running across a platform of metal plates with lots of oil on top of it. And guess who is the winner?

Ironman, the movie - Bad Poison!

We spent out evening watching Iron man at Great World. Throughout the whole movie, I was screaming "Aiai.. look, its the R8 !!" , "Aiai.. see that, thats the S5", "Aiai, wow.. Q7" !!!!

and all her expression was DUH! Dont come bug me with all these audi stuff.. just leave me alone and watch the movie! But how to mann!? I was getting over too excited! What ironman? Audi Rocks, mann!






and guess what!? The best part of it, after the movie, Aiai was very angry about me buying the S5! Hahhaaa... Women!

Dhrama Seminar @ Teochew Building

Ow Pa came over to Rosewood to fetch me to attend the Dhrama seminar about the taming one's mind and the buddha teaching at TeoChew Building. There were 2 sessions, the 4pm and the 7pm. I also brought Ow Pa and Ow Ma to Fish & Co and ordered the best fish & chips for Ma and the seafood platter for Pa. And they both love it!

After the dinner, we continued to sit in for the 2nd session until Aiai came to meet us with the Kab after her long meeting with her boss and her distributer at Holiday Inn. I accompanied her to have her late dinner at Zion food centre and then we drove home after that.

Got a great present from Ow Di. Yep, its the integrated Seagate external firewire/USB HD which I longed wanted. Thanks Di! Now, I can dump all my digital pictures into that huge mega disk and keep my PC HD free and fast.

Some of my colleagues had requesting me to shoot them in office and even want me to do the photo shoot for the work pass photo. This is awesome!

Chee Yong, Chee Yong !!!!!

How come so old already still got surprise party? All thanks to his beloved wife, Vivan Wan who came out with this brilliant idea. Sending out emails way ahead of the actual party date and get everyone in position for this surprise. Well done! Chee Yong was really caught in the act! Can see that WOW thing on his face when he opened up the door.. but still cant compare with the Expressive Alison's face! hahahaa..

Vagsg Mini GTG - Apr 08

Organized by S3 (patrick), a "mini" GTG, and thats what we called it. We had hit 99 VAG cars during that hot sunny Sunday afternoon. Hots of hot GTi, coupled with a few RS4s & a white R8, thats really aint mini at all. Old guards like UG and Sammy came down for the GTG after so many years of MIA. Lots of new babes snatching the very last few pieces of decals and within minutes, the decals were all gone.

Great turnout and most properly that will be my last GTG with my beloved Kab.

I have been poisoned, badly !

Deck sms yesterday and informed me that this Top Gun from IWC will be released here in Singapore this August and he asked if I want to join in with the waiting queue. Oh boy, this is sooooo poison! I have always a big fan of IWC but due to its cost of ownership, I can only dream for it but the unofficial list price was told its gonna be S$10,7000. The high-tech ceramic/titanium Top Gun pilot watch will be so limited that the waiting time might have to be more than half a year or even more.

Chek Jawa - for the 2nd time

Oh ya, that was my 2nd time to Chek Jawa. But this time, Aiai couldnt make it as she was away for 2 weeks in HK/Shanghai for her product training. Anyway, I brought along Eddie, together with a bunch of pretty ladies with me this time.

The cycling trak session was the killing part! I swear I am going to take the van up next time. Gezz..

Rodney & Ally's Wedding

That Saturday was a big day for both Rodney (Bugzilla) & his beloved wife, Allison both of them tying the knot! I was so honored to be their wedding photographer for the day and also shared this special moment with the newly wedded couple.

Wjia & Whk Biz Trip

Another biz trip to Jiangmen and HongKong. Route was to Jiangmen for a day and then 3 days in HongKong. Friday will be ChingMing Festival for both HongKong & Jiangmen but because I will be reformating the fileserver in Whk office and thus I am making use of this public holiday to rebuild the server and load Win2003, giving more capactity to the server by wiping out their Finance apps which already long migranted to Wsng early this year.

Thurs evening got to meet up with Ben, Icer, Budi & Arrow for a kopi session at Kowloon. After the sage in the forum lately, its nice to meet up some vagsg dudes to share their feedbacks and common interest of the forum.
