This is the ultimate! Had never never done this in my 35th of my entired life and yes, I was 'invited' by my aiai to do a full facial treatment to my 'pimple plantation' at Bliss Beauty, right at the basement of Grand Hotel.
How can I say no right? Its my present for my 35th birthday from my aiai. Thanks baby! *muak*

My face now? smooth like silk! haha.. tho I had 1 solid hour of pain and tears. Its all worth it.

Back to reality!

After 2 weeks of Sydney and Melbourne tour, I am finally back in Spore. How time flies when you really enjoy.

Syendy wasnt so bad, minus off the bad weather. It was chillingly cold even in the daytime. The rain really spoilt all travelling plan. But still, we managed to get to see The Rocks, Opera House, Darling Habour, Pitt Mall and the Sunday market at the rocks.



Melbourne, on the other hand, the weather was perfectly good for travelling. The temperature ranged from 8C to 20C and no showers at all. So, make my photography trip really worthwhile. I met up with Owen & family and Vincent & family. Really appreciated their hospitality and their host. Went back to my Caufield campus just like walking thou the memory lane, the city central itself, the Federation Square & Docklands (which were something new in melb) and of coz, the great old Chinatown which I had my pho 3 times during this trip! Yeah!

and now.. I am down with fever and cough! Oh boy... too much milk shake?!

Here I come, Australia !
Will be taking off tonight at the Changi airport this midnight and be back 17Sept, 12 days of fun, fun, fun in the Ozland.

Cant wait to eat the Pho, the meat pie, the cheeries and best of all, the oz icecream !!!!
And you bet I am going to take as many photo as I can!

Children Cancer Foundation 06

For many years, EVC (Euro Van Club) has been the appointed volunteer car club to help CCF to run the charity drive and also, me being the admin for VAGSG, had been supporting them through all these years. These guys had put in so much effort to put the whole event to its success and I really give my respect to these folks! Well done, EVC!

But at the Kallang carpark, I was carried away by these hot racing babes which I couldnt help myself from taking a few shots at them! They are HOT !

David & Annie's baby 1st month

Was invited for a joy sharing celebration for both David & Annie's 1month at their Seng Kang house. I couldnt get close to the new born baby gal was she was rather a hot item for that moment, instead, this little kid was our highlight. :-)

RSAF Open House 06

3 of us (together with our dear kuku) went for the RSAF Open House that hot saturday afternoon. The heat was not way to stop Aaron to line up for 30min just to take a ride in this AH64D Apeche Choper. We could have just catch the 5pm air show but too bad, we got to run to meet Alison and frens for roller blading.

Audi Accelerated Workshop

For the very first time, PA is inviting all their customers (including VW GTi) to their Audi Accelerated Workshop (ran in the AM and PM session) at their customer service center, Ubi.
These workshop highlighted mTm tunning and Conti tyres. Much of the VAGsg members attended the workshop. Food, goody packs, games and prizes made the event so much more fun.

A photo GTG with Jon and JD

Met my photography buddies, Jon and JD at Chinese Garden for a photoshoot session. They were having fun with Infra-red photography while I dont have such hi-tech filters and thus was just toying with normal settings and trying to practice on my bokeh.

Many thanks to JD for also teaching alot of settings and methods for taking IR photog.

My first farewell dinner

My muslim collgueas just gave me my first farewell dinner at Mandarin Hotel. It willnt be my first and I know there will be many more to come.

After the dinner, joined James and Aaron at James' house for another session of home movie. As usual, I fell asleep in the middle of the movie.

Yes! I passed my letter to boss and he called me in for a short discussion and he wished me the best afterall! :-)

22/09/06 marked my last day in Sumitomo Bakelite and I will rest a bit before I embark into my next career path!

Our dear Ben will be leaving for HK to presume on his new role in his company. It is going to be a sad thing to see him leaves the Birdies team. Nevetheless, we wish him wholeheartedly that he will continue to perform and progress in his career and best of all, go find a good wife back!

Sis and her new D50

I still remembered the day when I received my new 30D! The joy was undescribable! Went to fetch Mei at her condo that afternoon noon and we went to AMK to have our lunch before stepping to MS photo to buy her new D50.

The deal was so good that Mei couldnt resist. $1188 for the D50, kit lens, 1G memory card and a UV lens filter.

Sandwich Making Competition

The EHS community members just love to involve me in all of their events. Today, we had this Sandwich Making Competition event and I also dont know how the hell I got involved in this event and worst of all, I was teamed up with Tien An (our loud speaker, Finance manager) together with Jenni. Nevertheless, me very onz. I just go ahead and take up the challenge. Anyway, its just for the fun of it.

After gathering ourselves at the canteen at 12noon, my task was to prepare all the utensils and the presentation (got to learn alot from my wifey) and in total, we had 7 teams to compete with.

Lots of curious spectaculars crowded around the tables to view and to cheer. 20mins later, all contestants were asked to stop and the Judges, our MD, Chern and Jenny, the nutritionist were ask to interview and taste the sandwiches which we made.

I personally think our presentation was the best, not that I'm thick-skinned but many had said so. Taste-wise, I think ours was the best too caused we used carrot chicken beast meat, cheese sausages and lots of veggies and fruits for our product and speaking of nutritious, ours was also the best caused we used no salt butter, whole-meal bread and no dressing nor sauce. Now tell me, aint we the best?

Ho! Result was announced shortly at 1pm. The winner was Lai Fun's team whom was also from IT. They won because they used homemade dressing, which was one of the criteria, which the judges were looking for. They walked away with $30 NTUC vouchers! WOW! We got consolation prize. Hey, no bad liao lah! :)

Nomore V-Power.

For most of the drivers, we all know that V-Power (from Shell) is the most costly petrol here in Singapore. Not only its the most expensive petrol of all, it also gives the abetter milage for your car and the most power and best of all, it cleans the engine when you drive. Because of the high cost, my company has just stopped us (the managerial level) from using it as one of the cost cutting measurement. Best of all, my HR did not even send out any memo regarding to this. WTF!

It makes me so embarrassed when I was filling my petrol at the woodlands shell petrol kiosk after work.

This Bug is forsale

Rodney has been always wanted to take some good photos before he sells away his VW Beetle. So, he came over to our place that afternoon and I took him to some ulu places at Sembawang to take some cool shots for his beetle.


After shooting his bug, he told me that he already found a buyer for his bug - Himself.

The final episode for SFF (France)

It was the last episode for the Singapore Fireworks Festival for 2006 and we aint going to miss the world. With all our equipments, we walked from Ris Calton to Benjamin Shears Bridge to take the fireworks. We selected this location because I wanted some city skyline as the background rather than just the fireworks itself.

Quite a distance that we walked and when we were up there ard 7, the crowd was really bad. We hardly can see any space for our tripods. Luckily this chinese family able to squeeze out some space for us to place our tripods. We had a very good spot (middle of the bridge) where we could have a very good view of the entire city.

About 8, poor Jon came along. His dear wife dropped him at the opposite of the highway where he got to walked down the bridge, and came out from the other side of the bridge in order to join us. He was sweating all over. But the urge to take the good pictures aint going to stop him.

3 of us had a good view at the fireworks (tho its aint the best show but we aint complaining) and we are sure to come again next year.

Sunrise at Yishun Dam

Call us crazy but we are just wanna have fun with our Canon 30D. Me dragged aiai off the bed at 5.45am and we arrived at Yishun Dam just to capture those beautiful sunrise at the dam together with Jon and Aaron.

The beach was so beautiful when the ray shinning on the low-tide shore. Giving that glore on the sand. Daddy came by and he brought us to the inner side of the village where we saw old containers used as houses for the fishermen. Interesting senaries which we dont see on our daily lives.

After the photoshoot, together with Aaron, we drove to Kallang to have his favourite chee-chong-fun. Then we headed back home to take some rest so that we can continue our part 2 in the evening.
