At the end, I got myself 2 little pot of plant for my office.
We had our dinner at Surdonesia and met Jon, Shaan and his friends.
Let it snow, let it snow...
Lots of food & drink for the party-goers
The duets - Loving me, loving you
Even the kids were having fun too...
This is the latest outlet at Carrefour, Batu Pahat, right at the main enterance. Welcome!
Like any other company dinner & dance, MD would give a short speech, followed by the long service awards and some other technical awards. Games, lucky draws (yes yes yes, where were my new bird's luck), disco dancing, and the buffet food. Endless fun ended quickly at 11.30pm when the boat returned back to the shore. We had a great time and hope to attend many more D&Ds in Whitford.
Startly, it was easy as it seems. Nice walking path with steep slope up the hill. Going up some hundred stairs and we reached the summit in less than 20mins.
But thats not it. Its just 10% of the whole jounrey. That was just some warm up. The tough ones were all those up and low muddy grounds and hundreds of stairs where my legs almost wanna gave up on me. Even Becky seems to be much stronger and energtic than me.
Thanks to Kim Thye. I almost puke after climbing the 250 stairs in the middle of the hill. This was just very mild as compared to Miri. I think if I go Miri, I will just spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach and let those guys go have their fun in the mountains. heee...
After all those climbings up and down, finally, we came back to the finishing point. I just felt like I was a good lunch. We had a wash up and then we headed down to Bukit Timah hawker centre to have our lunch.
Last but not least, we all gave ourselves a good treat for a good icecream!
Which orginally cost $250+ but after discount, its merely $160+. Plus a pair of shoes, I paid just $30. What a steal!
Later, met Bugzilla for Lunch at HK Central Cafe in Taka and then we headed straight to Silra home for our weekly voluntary work.
As early as 6am in the morning, both Jon and myself were already up washing our cars at the Rosewood. We just want our steeds to look at its best on the once-a-year Mega GTG event. After the wash, we headed down to Newton Circus to meet up with the Central Convoy team at 8.30am. We got the largest convoy team as compared to the East and the West. The CAM dudes also joined us in the convoy and that made us more than 15 cars in that morning drive. Both Jon and I took the lead and we spilt them up into 2 groups.
The convoy was really cool. Up the AYE highway and exit out from Marina South and we were also the first team to reach the main carpark. But very soon, the other convoy teams had also arrived. With all the 60plus cars to arrange for the formation for photoshooting wasnt easy at all. Thanks to the admin team plus some helpers over there, we managed to get the formation we wanted in about a hours time.

After the dinner, we took a stroll along the bay. So much like walking along Sydney Habour, minus the temperature. hee
Crispy fries with lots of onions make the whole dish finger-licking good. I ordered the Canjun burger which only came much later. Will give it another try for other food there.
New volunteers like Michelle and a group of Chinese students came down to help out and make the day more merry. They were helpful and brought many joys to the old folks. Three cheers to them!
