We had our very own private audi gathering early in the morning at Marina South. Surprisingly, we had 12 members attending to this exclusive event. Thanks to Greenback for organizing it. We had the chance to see Stage 3 (more than 300 hp) A3 sportsback, the 2 RS4, A4 quattro avant and many more.

SBS Charity Bowl @ OCC

As early as 7.45am, I already at MINDSville (located at Yeo Chu Kang) home awaiting for the children from MINDS residents to get ready to board the bus to Orchid Country Club as we have a special bowling event for them. Its one of our RC charity event which we take the MINDS resident out to have fun in the bowling center and as well as donating the number of points which all players accumulated multiply by a faction of amount as a donation to the home.

9am sharp, we arrived at the center and all players including the MINDS were all line up at their own respective lanes. We started off right after our MD's roll off bowl (and it was a strike)!

The whole event lasted till 11.30am and I took the same bus back to MINDS together with the residents and back home with another event - our Saturday regular Silra Home activities.

Another lazy Sunday

After those facial sessions for Aaron, KimThye and James at our place, plus a DVD movie, it all ended up 3am. James went back home while Aaron and KimThye slept over at our place.
9am wasnt too early for everyone to wake up. Aiai got her doctors seminar and appointment at Sheraton while 3 of us went across the road to have our breakfast. Aaron was kinda disappointment as the CheeChoonFun stall did not open that morning. We all had prata instead.

Aaron drove us downtown and both me and KimThye carried on with our latte and cheeze cake outside Heerem shop. Reading Sunday papers and watching people walking by. Ohh...

10am, KimThye left for his Yoga class at Taka as for me, took a slow walk along Orchard road, not really into shopping but was eyeing for some interesting shots to take. Yep, I brought along my 30D and walked up and down across the malls. Gezz.. I do look like a tourist tho.

3pm, Rodney done with his golf and he came to fetch me at Paragon. Both of us went over to his condo as he was going to help me with my resume enhancement. He polished up my resume like it was so easy for him. Thats his ricebowl by the way. Being up at the VP level, he had seen much more resume than what I have done for my IT weekly report to my boss. Ha!

and of coz, I just couldnt help it with a couple of shoots in his house. One in the living room (kinda of untidy for a single-manhood) and one in his bedroom. The lighting was just perfect for a white environment like this one. Simple love the effect!

Finally the course has ended

Wed 19th Jul marked the last day of my 8class course for my Basic Photography lesson by
Blackbox. It just seems like I took up the first class yesterday. So soon, it has come to an end. We were taught how to make our own photo album from scratch by using hard boards, blinders, sticking sheets and black papers. Ken also took time to go through all the photos that we took, the nightshots, Chinatown and the Zoo and explained to us whats the good/bad points for the photos. Tho its only 8 classes, but I really enjoyed every moment of it. Everytime when the class ended, I always look forward for the next one. I learnt almost everything you need to operate a SLR such as ISO, White Balance, Apeture, Shutterspeed, types of lens, use of tripods, composition, framing and all the way to how to make your own album, way too cool!

Now, my next question is .... should I go for the Advance?
Let me polish up my skill by taking more photos and will consider again.

My final fieldtrip - The Zoo

This will be my final fieldtrip, the zoo. Met up with Ken and all my other course mates outside the entrance. Before we entered to the zoo, Ken had a look at my assignment and he was rather please with my work. *Happy*

The morning was wet. It drizzeled abit and then came the hot and humid morning. Here are some of the highlights I took at the zoo. Much more difficult than those ones I took at Chinatown cause these animals aint static. They move!

SBS Blood Donation Drive

This is the 3rd time I am organizing this special and meaningful event for my company. The Red Cross team came as early as 8am to setup the equipment and beds. But the nurses and the doctors came slightly late due to the morning peak hours.

This year, we targeted to hit 94 attendance rate. Can we make it?

Bearly! We have 92 registered, 79 turned up and 61 successful donor (me included)

Our RC chairman is buying us dinner next friday :-)

Audi Roadshow

Go the whole day with buddy Rodney. After sending aiai to the airport in the early morning (yep, she is flying to ShangHai again), I went straight to Rod's house to do our regular weekend wash&wax together. Spent our 3 hours of hard work in his condo doing up our cars, then we drove down to Raffles City to check out the Audi roadshow. It was kinda impressive where they had all the latest models of the audi on disaply, including the new A4 cabriolet 2.0TFSI.

We also checked out the new price for the new Audi TT 2.0TFSI and it is currently going at 183K for early bird promotion. Both of us were like jaw-dropping when we heard the price. I think its time for a group-buy!

James Birthday Celebration

Just a small birthday celebration for birdie James. 3 cars - 2 integras and my cab drove our way to Bamboo restuarant for a good feast there. We got ourselves the whole of second floor upstairs and seems like we booked the whole restaurant. After the heavy dinner, thats not about it as Aaron was dying for his Chee Chong Fun real bad! We went to Taman Pelangi hawker place to have his Chong Fun and also deserts. He contended? Hmm.. almost! He wants the 'red red ones' haha.

After the saga of JB, they all came to Rosewood for another round of desert - Aiai's long-an drink.
