An afternoon out for Charity

Took an afternoon off to meet the officer and the asst director of MINDSville. This year, SBS will be organizing a charity bowling for MINDS to raise funds for the needy. Being the social leader, I went to meet them up and discussed about the event and book at the date for the event and also plan out the logistics and other matters. After the discussion with them, Sandra, the officer, brought me and Wong (my partner) for a home tour.

The Garden.

The Landscape.

In the late afternoon, went over to Molton Brown @ Raflles Hotel to discuss about their product launch press conference. The marketing executive, Therecia (also a vagsg member), wanted me to help them out to do a convoy of 10 Audi luxury/lifestyle cars on their launch to ferry their press. At the end of the discussion, they even gave me an appreciation gift.

Black Pepper is my favourite frangance. Good for traveller pack. Will definetely bring them along with me to my Phuket trip tomorrow.

Feel good to take leave!

Oh yes, waking up late and knowing everyone is busying at work make me feel so good. hee.. Dont envy me coz Company actually credit all employees 1 day leave for the coming election day. Yepee!

Sent the Kab for a good zaino polish at Maxwell. Really have no time for the normal sunday morning wax liao. Guess I am just getting too old. Or should I say, lazy!?

We also managed to catch a good movie at causeway point - Eight Below after our Sakae Sushi dinner. The movie was very worth seeing, especially seeing those cute 8 doggies. We say go for it for those who has not seen it yet.

TQM Opening Speech Day

"First Time Right" has been our TQM slogan for 2 years. Yes, its our TQM week again for year 2006. And I was arrowed to be the camera-man once again. Everything was just like before, all employees gathered together in the canteen and hear our PD giving his mavelorus speech. But was having some fun with the TQM community setting up those AV systems.

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Time flies. Today marked our love of unity as the 2nd year. I did not give her anything on the day itself. Just pulled her on the bed and gave her a pleasant surprise. I can see in her eyes that she was overjoyed when I told her that I will be taking her to Phuket for a short trip. She knows I am always not a good tour planner but this was really a surprice for her. So, friday, Phuket here we come.

We woke up pretty late in the morning as the movie marathon at James's place always make us sleep late at night.
We had my favourite big prawn noodles at East Coast before we head down to East Coast Park for our regular Sunday blading.
The food, the sun and the breeze made us very sleepy. Aiai slept on my big fat tights and I just closed my eyes to enjoy the sea breeze blowing across my face.

We only started blading around 5pm. Met Sun along the way and also Alison & her gang at Fort Road. Aaron and Jasmine came along too and it was quite a nice blade in the evening too.
I guess for a non-stop 2hr blading should be enough for Aiai's poor feet and we decided to have our dinner at the Lagoon food centre. The rest after having some drinks and they continue while Ben came along to join us for dinner.

Second round? As usual, we then drove to the big Mac center at Kallang for some sundras and fries with Ben. Alison and Aaron joinned us shortly after their night blading. Got back home pretty late, considering I still got to work in the morning. *sigh*

Just one of those Silra Saturadays.

Morning, met up with Jas&Eug at Ayer Terok Food Centre for brunch and we went across the road to pray at the Chinese Temple. After that, we also went to Melrose Place which I passed the long owned photo to Mr Lim, the home director.

Just one one of those normal Saturdays where we will be at Silra Home to bring our love to the residents. Just that today, we arrived there slightly earlier than usual.

Cousin Ah Bai also came with her tools to give the old folks a good hair cuts. It was quite a queue up as well.

Aiai brought along our US trips photo and showed 'em to the old folks. Just like telling them bed time stories.

Quite a few new volunteers stepped up and took the courage to sing infront of the residents. Maybe is the new DVD player which we bought that got the effect. hee.

There you go, our new Karaoke system.

After the Silra activities, we went to Chinatown (16 of us) to have our dinner. I think its the biggest crowd of all since we joinned the Joy Gathering. Great food and good company there. After the dinner, some of them went for 2nd round which was at Mc Donald and we decided to go back for a good bath. Sent RenMei back to Edmund's place and we went home for a good bath.

Reaching James's place at 11pm. Had a game of Xbox with Aaron and Willy and followed by a super gross movie which we watched - Ichi the killer. Only for the sadists!
